Israr Ahmed is a Birmingham-based photographer from Small Heath, working across fashion, sport and street photography. A self-taught photographer, his work began on the streets of London Fashion Week, capturing the energy, individuality and style of its community before developing into collaborations with brands and designers including Fila, Mark Fast and Burberry.

Rooted in the people and places of Birmingham, Israr's practice extends beyond commissioned work. He continues to explore street photography on 35mm film, documenting everyday life with a considered, documentary-led approach, while his sports photography focuses on movement, intensity and the stories behind competition.
